# Neuron Cart

> A drop-in cart, checkout, and order layer for any storefront, with
> text-login identity (phone number + one-time SMS code) built in. You keep
> the storefront you already have — or the one your agent generated — and
> call Neuron Cart for the part that takes money. A Xumulus Inc. product.

Neuron Cart is in private beta and free for beta merchants. There is no
billing during beta, and general-availability pricing has not been announced.

Every API response is `{ success: true, data }` or `{ success: false, error: { code, message } }`.
Branch on `error.code`, never on `message`. All money is integer cents. The API key
is server-side only; browser code calls your own routes, which call Neuron Cart.
